Joachim P. W.

Joachim P. W. is a seasoned professional in the technology and banking sectors, currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Global Business Development for Banking Software at Sesami since September 2023. Prior to this role, Joachim co-founded and was the CEO of Planfocus Software from July 2004 until August 2023, where the firm specialized in next-generation AI solutions for cash cycle optimization, handling cash services valued over 150 billion EUR annually. Joachim's extensive experience also includes positions as a Senior Solution Architect at i2 Technologies and roles in research at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz, AT&T Labs, and the National University of Singapore. Academically, Joachim holds a Dr. Ing. in Computer Science/Operations Research from Universität des Saarlandes and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Oregon.
