Corentin Guilbaud

Corentin Guilbaud has worked in various roles since 2016. In 2016, they were a Private Teacher at Complétude. Corentin then had internships at MAAF Assurances - Groupe Covéa as a Data Scientist and at Groupama Assurances Mutuelles as a Data Scientist Intern. In 2018, they were an Actuarial Consultant Intern at Sia Partners and a Quantitative Researcher at BNP Paribas CIB, where they built mid to high frequency quantitative trading strategies, conducted research on trading signals, portfolio optimization, risk management and backtesting, and trading cost reduction through trade internalization. In 2020, they became a Quantitative Researcher at SESAMm.

Corentin Guilbaud obtained a French engineer degree (5 year degree) in Applied Mathematics from the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse between 2012 and 2018. Corentin also completed a Master's degree in Actuarial Science from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL in 2018. From 2015 to 2016, Corentin attended Tampere University of Technology 1965-2018, studying Data Analysis, Mathematics and Computer Science. Corentin also spent one year (2016-2017) at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya studying Applied Mathematics and Statistics. Corentin also attended CREPS Toulouse between 2010 and 2015, studying Pelote Basque. In addition, Corentin holds three Coursera Course Certificates in Machine Learning, obtained in September and October 2016.
