Jorge Alvarez is the current Chief Marketing Officer at SESAMm. Prior to this, they were the Head of Marketing at Venn, a SaaS platform for quantitative investment analysis. Jorge was responsible for architecting Venn's entire marketing organization from the ground up, including messaging, website, tech stack and team. Jorge successfully launched Venn through a PR initiative along with social media and trade magazine ads. The results of the launch exceeded organizational expectations, generating a substantial amount of leads.

Jorge achieved high lead quality and conversion rates through the implementation of an ABM (Account Based Marketing) strategy targeting key accounts. Jorge also achieved a 3:1 LTV to CAC ratio by optimizing channels and taking an ROI focused approach to acquisition strategy. In addition, they implemented a content strategy focused on increasing the efficacy of social media efforts, marketing campaigns, nurture streams and ultimately engagement. Finally, Jorge implemented onboarding and engagement strategies aimed at increasing client engagement and retention. These strategies were successful, with Jorge achieving a 35%+ open rate and 15%+ CTR on average on newsletters and onboarding email drip campaigns.
