Sesotec
Karishma Thumu is a Research and Development Engineer at Sesotec since July 2022. Prior experience includes a Master Thesis and role as a Student Research Assistant at Fraunhofer IGCV, focusing on developing an autonomous transport platform to enhance factory planning through continuous environment scanning. Karishma also engaged in ROS Navigation applications at The Construct and participated in Continental's Electrification Challenge at IAA Frankfurt, studying vehicle dynamics. Additionally, an algorithm for weapon detection was developed at MathWorks using deep learning techniques, and earlier experience includes CNC programming and design as a student intern at Behindertenwerkstätten Oberpfalz GmbH. Karishma holds a Master of Engineering in Mechatronics and Cyber Physical Systems from Deggendorf Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Joginpally B.R Engineering College.
