Mirel Bițoi

Mirel Bițoi has a diverse work experience spanning over six years. Mirel started their career as a QA Tester in a gaming company, where they were responsible for testing, tuning, and debugging games to ensure their quality. Mirel then transitioned to a role as a Game Developer, where they implemented new game features and services in collaboration with the content team.

Alongside their freelance work as a Game Developer, Mirel also worked as a Full Stack Web Developer, handling various projects at different stages of development and converting designs into HTML/CSS. Mirel continued freelancing as a self-employed individual, fixing problems and adding features to existing projects.

Mirel joined Premium IT Technologies as a Fraud Specialist, utilizing various tools to identify and prevent fraudulent orders. Mirel then progressed to the role of Senior Fraud Risk Analyst, where they dealt with chargebacks, performed background checks on customers with suspicious activity, and evaluated new tools for risk detection and prevention. Eventually, they became a Project/Product Manager, managing and coordinating the department's integration projects, integrating new payment methods, and maintaining cashier's routing and fraud rules.

Most recently, Mirel joined Sessions as a Frontend Developer. Their responsibilities include developing new features, translating designs into code, and optimizing components for maximum performance across different web-capable devices and browsers.

Mirel Bițoi pursued their education at Academia de Studii Economice din București from 2013 to 2016. Mirel studied in the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics, and Economic Informatics during this time. In 2018, Mirel joined Zero To Mastery Academy and completed a degree in Web Development, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. Additionally, they obtained multiple certifications from various institutions, including Udemy and High Speed Training Ltd. These certifications cover topics such as React development, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, CSS, Sass, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
