Jim Rasche is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at SET SEG since June 2019, Jim has led the development of an in-house quoting application and transitioned a monolith batch processing application to a real-time microservice-based system. Prior to this, Jim worked at Kunz, Leigh & Associates and Auto-Owners Insurance, where responsibilities included building efficient web applications and integrating systems with ClaimCenter. Jim's leadership capabilities were also demonstrated as a Project Manager for the MiTEE, overseeing a technical project team, and in roles at the University of Michigan SuperMileage, Qualcomm, and the US Navy, where strategic and technical skills were honed. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.
