The SETI Institute is a non-profit research organization, located in the Silicon Valley close to the NASA Ames Research Center.

Our mission is to lead humanity's quest to understand the origins and prevalence of life and intelligence in the universe and share that knowledge with the world.

The Education and Outreach Team at the SETI Institute develops and implements programs to educate the public and foster engagement with the Institute's mission. They create educational content, manage public engagement initiatives, collaborate with educators, and lead outreach activities to raise awareness about the origins and prevalence of life and intelligence in the universe. The team is also dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and access in all their efforts.
