Shiv Gonsai has worked in the digital content industry since 2017. In that time, they have held roles at QueryClick (2017-2019) as Digital Content Executive, Freelance, Self-Employed (2019) as Copywriter & Content Specialist, Setmore (2020) as Content Manager and AnywhereWorks (2020) as UX Writer and Head of Content. At QueryClick, Gonsai developed and executed bespoke SEO-content strategies to enhance clients' online visibility. At Freelance, Self-Employed, they helped businesses connect with the right audiences through delivering user-friendly, optimized and on-brand content. At Setmore, they were responsible for content strategy, encompassing digital content, SEO and UX, and led a globally-distributed team of marketing professionals. At AnywhereWorks, Gonsai was responsible for evolving UX writing and content design standards across every product.

Shiv Gonsai is currently enrolled at Lancaster University.
