Luis Brenes

Luis Brenes has a wealth of experience in the field of product development and solutions engineering. Luis has held various roles since 2002, beginning with a Team Manager position at Sykes, followed by a Team Manager position at Hewlett-Packard from 2006 to 2009. Luis then returned to Sykes in 2009, where they were a Cisco Duty Manager until 2015. In 2015, they joined Akamai Technologies, where they held the roles of Engagement Manager, Technical Project Manager II, and Technical Project Manager. In 2018, they joined 42Streams, Inc. as a Senior Solutions Engineer and Senior Solutions Architect. Most recently, they joined Setplex in 2020 as the Director of Product Development and Solutions Engineer.

Luis Brenes obtained their High School degree from Colegio Salesiano Don Bosco in 2007. Luis then attended Instituto Tecnologico de Cartago from 2009 to 2011 and obtained a Network Technitian degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator. In 2010, they attended Cisco Academy and obtained an Associate's Degree in System, Networking, and LAN/WAN Management/Manager. Luis also holds a CCNA certification from Cisco.
