Kate Kippels

Director Of Operations at SetSight

Kate Kippels has worked in the software industry for over 20 years. Kate began their career in 1996 at SPS Commerce as a Support Manager. In 2005, they joined SetSight as a Client Services and Electronic Data Interchange Manager. Since 2009, they have been the Director of Operations for SetSight Software. In this role, they work closely with Marketing and Development to bring high powered software applications to their clients. Kate also directs the Client Service, Client Onboarding, Project Management, Quality Assurance (QA), and Data Services teams. Her recent accomplishments include assisting in the development of the product roadmap, creating a software training communications strategy and execution plan, implementing custom solutions for General Mills Sales and Category Management Teams, introducing Agile SCRUM Methodology, and Tableau Server Administration.

Kate Kippels has a diverse educational background. Kate obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology from the University of Minnesota in 2006. Kate also holds a certification in Project Management from the University of Minnesota, which they obtained in December 2006. In 2011, they obtained a Supply Chain Management Fundamentals certification from MCTC, followed by a CPCM, Certified Professional Category Manager certification from the Category Management Association in March 2012. Kate also obtained a SCRUM Master certification from the Scrum Alliance in November 2013. From 2014 to 2017, they attended the University of St. Thomas and earned a Master of Science in Software Management. In 2016 and 2017, they earned a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics from the same university. Additionally, they have a Management Information Systems, General field of study from St. Catherine University. Lastly, they are expected to obtain a Tableau Certified Data Analyst certification from Tableau in March 2022.
