Coen van der Avoort has over 18 years of experience in mechanical development and project management, currently serving as Group Lead Mechanical Development A.I. at Settels Savenije Group of Companies since June 2010, where leadership responsibilities include managing a team of over 20 R&D professionals. Previous roles include Business & Project Manager, Group Lead Assembly & Test A.I., and Technology Consultant within the same organization, as well as Product Developer at Holmatro, Project Manager at GL Precision and VDL ETG, and Team Leader Mechanical Engineering at OTB - Solar. Coen holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Technical Business Management, and Professional Leadership from Avans and Fontys Universities of Applied Sciences.
