Jaime Khemraj M.D.

Jaime Khemraj, MD MBA has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Jaime currently holds the position of Chief Medical Officer at Settlement Health, a federally qualified health center in East Harlem, NY. In this role, they oversee population health and focuses on quality performance and total cost of care.

Prior to their current position, Dr. Khemraj worked at Mount Sinai Health System as the Director of Practice Transformation and also served as an Assistant Professor. At Ryan Health, they held multiple roles including School Based Health Preceptor, Director of Quality, Medical Director, Interim Chief Medical Officer, Medication Assisted Treatment Program Director, and Infection Control Officer. In these positions, they provided strategic network development for quality improvement, oversaw clinical sites and clinicians, and analyzed and redesigned key departments for value-based and quality performance.

Dr. Khemraj also served as the Medical Director at Hudson River HealthCare, Inc. (HRHCare) from 2011 to 2017.

Jaime Khemraj, MD MBA, completed their Bachelor's degree at Rutgers University - Newark in 2000. Jaime then pursued their medical education at St. George's University and earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Following that, from 2007 to 2010, they completed the Family Medicine Residency Program at Somerset Medical Center. Later, Jaime pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Rutgers Business School in 2020.

In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Healthcare Provider (BLS) Adult, Child and Infant CPR/AED certification from ProTrainings in August 2022. Additionally, they achieved the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification - Level II from Rutgers University - Camden in July 2022.
