Amelia Schmertz is a seasoned professional in the field of arts education and fundraising, currently serving as the Chief Advancement Officer at Settlement Music School since January 2011. In this role, Amelia manages the school's comprehensive fundraising program, securing support from a diverse array of sources, including corporations, foundations, and public agencies. Previously, Amelia held leadership positions such as Director of Advancement at Urban Affairs Coalition and Vice President of Programs at the Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia. Additional experience includes roles at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, University of Pennsylvania, University of Chicago, and Yale School of Music. Amelia holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago.
