Andy Thierauf is an accomplished percussion educator and director with extensive experience in music instruction and management. Currently serving as a Part-Time Percussion Instructor at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and a Managing Director at Bowerbird since 2017, Andy also teaches percussion at Settlement Music School. Previous roles include Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Iowa, Adjunct Professor at St. Ambrose University, and Director at iHearIC. Andy holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Percussion from the University of Iowa, a Master of Music in Percussion from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Music in Percussion from the University of Cincinnati.
