Marissa DeVita, MA, ATR-BC, LPC, is an experienced art therapist currently serving as a school-based Art Therapist at Settlement Music School, specifically at The Widener Memorial School in Philadelphia, where Marissa provides group art therapy to students with physical disabilities from grades K-12. Previous roles include Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist at IBC and Art Therapist at the Kardon Institute for Arts Therapy, where Marissa led individual and group sessions, conducted assessments, and developed treatment plans. Additional experience includes expanding the art therapy program at Atlantic Health System and providing targeted support as an ABA Aide and Substitute Teacher in special education settings. Marissa completed internships at Children's Day Family Center and Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, specializing in art therapy for various populations. Marissa holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Art Therapy from Caldwell University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Fine Arts, and Art Therapy from Philadelphia University/Arcadia University.
