Jessica Baker is a seasoned consultant with extensive experience in project management, strategic fundraising, and community development across various organizations. Currently, at SSI, Jessica focuses on women's equity and domestic violence, alongside bid writing and ethical storytelling strategies. Previous roles include leading a Department of Social Services-funded project for e-learning content to enhance diversity and inclusion, and consulting for STARTTS, where Jessica supports the accessibility of lived experience voices in NSW communities. Jessica has also contributed to grassroots initiatives for Black led charities and has extensive experience in advocating for asylum seekers and migrant women. Academic qualifications include an MA in Humanitarianism and Conflict Response from The University of Manchester and a BA in English Language from Cardiff University, complemented by diplomas in community services and teaching English as a foreign language.
