Electro-Optical Engineer at Seurat Technologies

Abdul Khan's work experience begins in 2013 as a Web Manager at the University at Albany, SUNY. In 2015, they transitioned to the role of Research Assistant at the same institution. In 2016, Abdul worked as an Agile Project Manager Internship, implementing new practices and mentoring junior engineers. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Laser Engineer at Photonics Industries Inc, where they evaluated laser build yield, characterized and tested builds, and implemented improved design modules. From 2020 to 2023, Abdul held the position of Laser Engineer at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, supporting fiber-laser-based and solid-state-laser-based development efforts. Currently, they are an Electro-Optical Engineer at Seurat Technologies.

Abdul Khan completed their high school education at Queens Technical High School from 2009 to 2013, earning a High School Diploma. Following this, they attended the University at Albany, SUNY from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics. In addition to their formal education, Abdul Khan has also obtained several certifications. Abdul obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers in November 2017. Moreover, they obtained a CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA in April 2013 and an IC3 certification from Certiport in March 2012.
