April Cooke

April Cooke has over 20 years of work experience in the fields of engineering and manufacturing. April is currently working as a Principal Process Engineer at Seurat Technologies since December 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Process Engineer at the same company from March 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining Seurat Technologies, April worked as an Additive Manufacturing Specialist at TRUMPF North America from March 2016 to September 2019. April also served as a Manufacturing Process Engineer at the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing from May 2014 to October 2015.

April's previous experience includes roles as an Engineering R&D Manager and Mechanical Engineer at Paramount Industries, a 3D Systems Company, from May 2013 to April 2014, and from December 2012 to May 2013, respectively. April also worked as a Research Associate at the University of Maryland, College Park from February 2011 to November 2012, and as an NRC Postdoctoral Associate at NIST from September 2008 to September 2010.

April's career began as a Research Assistant at the UNC Charlotte Center for Precision Metrology, where they worked from August 2002 to August 2008. Their diverse work experience demonstrates their expertise in process engineering, additive manufacturing, and precision metrology.

April Cooke has a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering. April completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1997 to 2002. Following this, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) and PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the same university from 2002 to 2008.
