Val Moutsopoulos has a strong background in information security and risk management. Val currently serves as the Director, Information Security Officer & Risk Management at Seven Bridges, a position they have held since August 2016. Prior to this, Val worked as the Director, Global Information Security & Compliance at Lionbridge from May 2015 to July 2016. Val also has experience in the public sector, serving as the Chief Security Officer for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services from April 2012 to October 2015. Val has held various other roles throughout their career, including Senior Manager of Security Governance & Risk Management at CVS Caremark Corporation and U.S. Information Security Officer at Royal Ahold, Inc. Val began their career as an IT Audit Manager/Practice Leader at Investors Bank & Trust and as a Global Information Risk Management Consultant at KPMG LLP. Val's experience spans multiple industries, including healthcare, retail, banking, and consulting.

Val Moutsopoulos holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Hellenic College Holy Cross. They also have a certification in Information Privacy & Data Protection from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Val holds multiple certifications in CRISC, CISA, and CISM from the Information Systems and Control Association (ISACA). They have a Certificate in Project Management from Northeastern University and are a Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA) from CISCO. Val's high school education was completed at Father Lopez High School.
