Bryan Parmelee is a Digital Production Specialist and Humor Writer/Video Producer at Seven Days since November 2015. Bryan also serves as a Member Board of Directors at Burlington City Arts and previously worked as an Audiovisual Technician at Vermont Comedy Club. In the past, Bryan held roles such as Information Systems at Solidarity of Unbridled Labour, IT Administrator/User Support Specialist at Jager Di Paola Kemp Design, and Certified Macintosh Technician/Help Desk Specialist at Small Dog Electronics. Bryan graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Theory and Composition/Art Management.
Seven Days
Seven Days is Vermont's award-winning altweekly newspaper. We distribute 36,000 copies free each Wednesday in northern and central Vermont and Plattsburgh, New York. The content from each week's paper, as well as our videos, and our archive from 2005 to the present, is available at www.sevendaysvt.com. Da Capo Publishing Inc., dba Seven Days, was founded by Pamela Polston and Paula Routly in 1995. In addition to its award-winning publications, the company also produces two annual events: Vermont Restaurant Week; and the Vermont Tech Jam, a job fair and tech expo. In 2000, the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce selected then-5-year-old Seven Days as Business of the Year. Eight years later, the Burlington Business Association did the same, citing the company's exemplary business practices, contributions to the community, and promotion of a positive image for Burlington, as well as business success. In 2013, Editor & Publisher selected Seven Days for inclusion in its annual feature “10 Newspapers That Do It Right.”
