Nazaneen Homaifar has a wealth of experience in the medical field. Nazaneen is currently the System Division Chief of Routine Obstetrics and an Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Inova Health System since 2021. Prior to this, they were the Medical Director and Senior Medical Advisor at Seven Starling from 2020-2021, Medical Advisor and Chief Medical Advisor at Natalist from 2019-2020, and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at UCSF Medical Center from 2017-2013. Nazaneen was also a Resident Physician in OB/GYN at UCSF Medical Center from 2013-2017 and a Fulbright Scholar with the Fulbright Program from 2006-2007, where they evaluated adolescent reproductive and sexual health policies and programs in Rabat, Morocco.
Nazaneen Homaifar received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Public Policy Analysis from Duke University in 2006. Nazaneen then attended Duke University School of Medicine, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 2013. During their medical studies, they also attended Harvard Business School and obtained their MBA in Business in 2011.
