Matteo Pirovano has worked in the robotics field since 2014. Matteo began their career as a Workshop Manager and Frame & Composites department Member for the Formula SAE Team Dynamis PRC. In 2019, they took on a Professor role at Fondazione Ikaros and an Experimental Thesis role at Politecnico di Milano, where they were responsible for the implementation of a NMPC trajectory planner for urban scenarios, design of a behavioral layer for high-level decision-making tasks, and design of an optimization-based MPC trajectory planner. In 2020, they became a Robotic Systems Engineer at Rheinmetall, and in 2021 they began working as a Robotic Application Engineer at Sevensense Robotics.
Matteo Pirovano has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Matteo then completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering - Robotics from the same institution from 2017 to 2020. In 2018, they also completed an International Exchange in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In addition, they obtained a C++ Nanodegree from Udacity in March 2022 and a TOEIC Certificate from Eas Milan in September 2017.
