Sebastian Ratz

Sebastian Ratz has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Sebastian began their career in 2014 as a Teaching Assistant at ETH Zurich, where they taught "Control Systems I" to mechanical engineering students. In 2016, they completed an Engineering & Project Management Internship at Applus+ IDIADA. In 2017, they joined Scandit as a Junior Software Engineer, where they worked until 2018. Sebastian then moved on to Sevensense Robotics in 2019, starting as a Robotics Engineer. Sebastian later became a Computer Vision Engineer and eventually assumed the position of Computer Vision Team Lead.

Sebastian Ratz began their education in 2007 at the Handelsakademie (HAK) Lustenau, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration and Management. Sebastian successfully completed their Matura in 2012. Afterwards, Sebastian went on to study at ETH Zürich, starting in 2012 and completing their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2015. Building on their undergraduate degree, they continued their education at ETH Zürich and obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2019.
