Hector Morales is an accomplished music educator with extensive experience in leading professional developments on music education at various conferences and institutions, including the New Jersey Music Educator’s Conference and William Paterson University. Since 2006, Hector has conducted Afro-Peruvian percussion master classes at prominent venues such as Berklee College of Music and Lincoln Center. As a Teaching Artist at organizations like Marquis Studios, Arts Horizons, and Brooklyn Academy of Music, Hector has impacted over 30 public schools, focusing on world percussion traditions and Afro-Peruvian music. Additionally, Hector serves as an Afro-Peruvian Percussion Instructor at Pachamama Peruvian Arts, offering free classes to over 1000 students weekly, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance from William Paterson University.
