Dan Thompson

Dan Thompson's work experience includes roles as Group Engineering Director at Severfield since November 2020 and Director at WFEL LIMITED from August 2018 to November 2020. Dan also served as Quality Manager and Welding Engineer at WFEL LIMITED from January 2017 to August 2018 and June 2014 to December 2016, respectively. Prior to that, they worked as a Welding Engineer at Joy Global UK from June 2013 to June 2014 and as a Quality Manager at Severfield plc from April 2011 to May 2013. Before that, they held roles as a Welding Engineer and Chartered Structural Engineer at Watson Steel Structures Ltd from 2005 to 2011, and as a Senior Engineer at Mott MacDonald from 2001 to 2002.

Dan Thompson attended Cranfield University from 2010 to 2011, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Welding Engineering Technology/Technician. In 2008, they completed a program at TWI Cambridge to become an International/European Welding Engineer. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1997, they studied Civil Engineering at the University of Birmingham, obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree. Additionally, they received a certification as a Chartered Engineer from the Engineering Council in 2005.
