Greg Smith

Greg Smith is an experienced professional in project management and strategy development, currently serving as the PMO Business Lead for Asset Strategy & Planning at Severn Trent since January 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing the delivery of Asset Class Strategies and managing a business improvement team. Prior to this, Greg held roles such as Account Manager and Strategic Programme Manager at Amey, responsible for managing large-scale projects and capital programs. Earlier experience includes Programme Manager roles at MWH Global, where management of AMP5/6 waste and water frameworks was key, and various positions within Severn Trent Water over a two-decade span, focusing on commercial management and project delivery. Greg holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from De Montfort University and a BEng in Civil Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University.
