Guillaume Appert

Guillaume Appert is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in water treatment and engineering. Currently serving as the Business Lead - Design - Water Treatment at Severn Trent since April 2005, Guillaume oversees a team of 45 across five design teams, focusing on the AMP7 Borehole Programme valued at approximately £65 million. Key responsibilities include leading a diverse team of engineers and hydrogeologists, implementing innovative project delivery approaches, and acting as Principal Designer for borehole projects. Prior to this, Guillaume held roles such as Programme Manager and Senior Programme Engineer, contributing significantly to various clean water initiatives and a major £38 million project at Bamford WTW. Before Severn Trent, experience at Veolia Water Technologies UK as a Process Engineer provided expertise in wastewater and clean water processes. Guillaume holds a Master’s degree in Process Engineering from Grenoble INP - UGA.
