Jonathan West

Jonathan West has had an extensive career in the field of information technology. Jonathan began their career in 2004 as an Access Developer at Milliken & Company. From there, they worked as a Laptop Support specialist and Help Desk Specialist at Advance America. Jonathan then joined Freightliner as a Support Specialist, where they provided onsite support and assisted in server migration projects.

In 2007, Jonathan became a Network/Systems Administrator at Mancor, where they were the sole on-site contact for IT support. Jonathan managed PC, fileserver, database server, email server, and print server operations across two separate facilities and ensured server backups were verified and troubleshot any related issues.

Jonathan then transitioned to Consolidated Systems, Inc. in 2008, taking on the role of Network/Systems Administrator. Here, they served as a System and Security Administrator for Active Directory and handled the configuration and support of Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and DFS. Jonathan also administered VMWare virtual machines and oversaw high availability (HA) and Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS) operations.

In 2010, Jonathan joined Centerplate as a Network Analyst, where they helped implement a company-wide WAN to achieve PCI compliance and fulfilled daily operational responsibilities for over 300 servers and 1,500 workstations across 150 sites. Jonathan'sduties included managing Active Directory, file/print services, application servers, and point of sale servers.

From 2014 to 2019, Jonathan had two roles at Integral Solutions Group. Jonathan served as a Network Integrator and a vCIO, focusing on strategic planning and overseeing network integration projects.

Afterward, Jonathan spent a year at Immedion as a vCIO/Network Integrator, providing valuable guidance and expertise in network integration.

Currently, Jonathan is employed at SEW-EURODRIVE - USA. Jonathan started in 2019 as a Network Administrator and subsequently held the positions of Lead Network Administrator, IT Support Supervisor, and presently as an Information Technology Infrastructure Manager.

Jonathan West obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science from Spartanburg Community College from 2000 to 2002. Jonathan further pursued higher education at the University of South Carolina Upstate from 2002 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in IT, Computer Science, and Business. In addition to their degrees, Jonathan West obtained a certification in Comptia Network + from Comptia in February 2012.
