Nate Nkumbu-Jean Francois

Nate Nkumbu-Jean Francois is an experienced professional with a diverse background in media and development. Currently serving as a Summer Intern at SEWA International USA since May 2020, Nate focuses on building media packages, drafting grants, and educating the younger generation through non-profit initiatives. As a Full Stack Developer at Thinkful, projects include a quiz app and a recipe search tool utilizing various web technologies. Previous experience includes roles as a News Reporter for Dorchester Star, a Reporter for Adams Publishing Group LLC, and a Staff Writer for Florida Atlantic University Press, where Nate covered local news and issues relevant to the student body. Additionally, contributing writing roles at The Media Line and Rise News involved producing stories on regional topics and millennial-focused news. Nate holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Florida Atlantic University and an Associate's degree in General Studies from Palm Beach State College.
