Ilyas M. Abbas has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Ilyas M. started their career as a Firmware Engineering Intern at Sonalgaz SPE in 2013, where they designed a microcontroller-based embedded system. In 2014, they worked as a Software Engineering Summer intern at the Center for Development of Advanced Technologies (CDTA), where they implemented a TCP/IP interface between a mobile robot and a remote computer.
In 2015, Abbas continued their internship at CDTA as a Software/Systems Engineering Intern, where they designed and implemented robotic software for mobile robot teleoperation. Ilyas M. used Python as the main programming language during their tenure.
Ilyas M. then joined Wilab in 2016 as a Software Developer, where they gained experience in software development. In 2017, they interned at Sewan Groupe as a Software Engineering Intern, where they further enhanced their skills.
Later in 2017, Abbas joined Sewan Groupe as a Software Engineer. In this role, they acted as the technical subject matter expert for Microsoft CSP integration in Sewan's Information System. Ilyas M. designed and implemented APIs and Microservices related to Microsoft's CSP products ordering and management. Ilyas M. also contributed to various transverse projects such as internationalization, billing, caching mechanism, VMs provisioning, and performance optimization.
Ilyas M. Abbas has a Master's degree in Distributed Systems and Network Technologies from Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC). Ilyas M. obtained this degree from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed another Master's degree in Distributed Computing Systems at the University of Boumerdes from 2013 to 2015. Their undergraduate education was at the University of Boumerdes as well, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Infotronique (Informatics and Electronics) from 2010 to 2013.
