Karen Blake

Karen Blake has over 25 years of experience in a variety of roles. Karen began their career in 1995 as a Corporate Marketing Coordinator for Northside Realty. In 1998, they became the Director of Career Services at Heald College, where they managed the Career Services department and increased the overall placement percentage of graduates into full-time and part-time positions. From 2005 to 2010, they worked as both a Directress and Assistant Directress at The Glen Montessori School, where they instructed students, created curriculum, and held parent/teacher conferences. During this same time period, they also worked as a Contract Paraprofessional at Strafford Elementary School, providing support and teaching to special education students in 5th grade. From 2010 to 2013, they were a Lead Teacher at Casa Dei Bambini Children's Center, where they instructed 28 three to six year-olds in a year-round academic program in the Montessori philosophy. Karen then worked as a Manager at Bracken Capital from 2015 to 2020, managing the offices, systems, and vendor relationships to ensure that Bracken Capital and its subsidiary operations performed at optimum efficiency. Currently, they are an Office Manager at Seward Capital LLC.

Karen Blake obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Villanova University between 1990 and 1994. In 2006, they completed their Certified In Early Childhood from the Center for Montessori Teacher Education/NY, American Montessori Society, with a focus in Early Childhood Education and Teaching. Additionally, they hold an American Montessori Society Teaching Certification Early Childhood from the American Montessori Society.
