Jimmy Ruiz Heredia

Jimmy Ruiz Heredia has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jimmy is currently working as a Lead Product Engineer at Sewon America, Inc., where they are responsible for ensuring technical feasibility design and coordinating with customers to improve design and reduce costs.

Prior to their current role, Jimmy worked as a Consultant and Business Advisor at EFESO, where they specialized in automotive and industrial consulting. Jimmy implemented various improvement processes such as Toyota production system, Lean manufacturing, and 6π, and also conducted R&D for new product development.

Before that, Jimmy served as a Project Program Manager at Saint-Gobain Sekurit, managing the launch of safety automotive glass programs and implementing WCM (World Class Manufacturing) techniques.

Jimmy also worked at Bocar Group as a Project Lead Development, overseeing the administration of new projects for die cast, machining, and assembly of automotive parts.

Jimmy has experience in the automotive lighting industry as well. Jimmy served as a Project Development Manager at North American Lighting, Inc. and Quality Planner at HELLA, where they organized new launches and ensured compliance with APQP milestones.

Additionally, Jimmy has worked as an Engineering Project Lead at Gates Corporation, Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer at Valeo, and Process Engineer at Volvo Buses. Jimmy has experience in power transmissions, climate control, and automotive assembly, and has implemented various methodologies and improvement techniques in these roles.

At the start of their career, Jimmy worked as a Quality Engineer at FEDERAL MOGUL, where they implemented quality systems and achieved a high level of audit compliance.

Throughout their career, Jimmy Ruiz Heredia has gained extensive expertise in automotive engineering, project management, quality control, and process optimization.

Jimmy Ruiz Heredia completed their education at several institutions over the years. Jimmy started their education in 1996 at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, where they pursued an industrial engineer's degree with a focus on strategic planning. Jimmy completed this degree in 2000.

Following this, Jimmy enrolled at the same institute in 2000 to pursue a postgraduate degree in "The company in the age of knowledge." Jimmy completed this program in 2001. Subsequently, they continued their education at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional and earned another postgraduate degree in total quality control, completing it in 2008.

In addition to their studies at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, Jimmy pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in administration and business management at the Universidad del Valle de México from 2005 to 2008.

These include certifications such as "Develop Android by Google" from Google in 2022, "WCM Green Belt Inovation Development & Growth Pilar" from EFESO in 2018, "Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)" from Quality House Automotive & Aerospace Division in 2014, and others.
