Amy Austin is an experienced Set Lighting Technician and Grip with a comprehensive background in the film and entertainment industry. Since February 2015, Amy has been affiliated with IATSE Local 477 and also serves as a Set Lighting Technician at IATSE Local 728. Notable projects include Rigging Electric for Marvel Studios on "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" and roles in various productions such as "The First Lady" and "David Makes Man." In addition to technical skills, Amy has expertise in graphic and motion design through work with Sextant Marketing, specializing in social media advertisements and website design. Amy's educational background includes an Associate’s Degree in Film Production Technology and a Technical Certificate in Theater Stage Technology from Valencia College, along with an Associate of Science in Digital Media from the University of Florida. Ongoing training in performing arts is pursued through institutions such as Beverly Hills Playhouse and The Groundlings.
