Aruna Fernando is the Deputy General Manager & Chief Risk Officer at Seylan Bank. Aruna has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, having worked their way up from a senior manager position at Commercial Bank of Ceylon Ltd. to their current role at Seylan Bank. Aruna is a highly respected figure in the Sri Lankan banking industry, and is known for their dedication to their work and their commitment to risk management.

Aruna Fernando attended post graduate institute of management (pim), mahanama college, colombo - 03, sri lanka and university of colombo. Aruna has a master of business administration from pim and a masters from mahanama college. Additionally, they are a certified banker from the institute of bankers of sri lanka.

They are on a team with Ramesh Jayasekara - Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Saraswathie Poulraj - Company Secretary, and Champika Dodanwela - Chief Financial Officer. Aruna Fernando reports to Kapila P Ariyaratne, Director & Chief Executive Officer.
