Bufan Wang

Bufan Wang is a Data Scientist currently employed at Sezzle since October 2022, with a solid background in data analytics and machine learning. Wang previously held positions as a Data Analytics Intern at Tufts Health Plan and Tesla, where significant contributions included constructing data pipelines, developing real-time churn detection models, and implementing recommender systems that improved conversion rates. Additional experience as a Water Science Research Intern at Tahoe Environmental Research Lab involved advanced statistical modeling and data wrangling techniques. Wang holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from USC Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business/Managerial Economics and Environmental Science & Management from the University of California, Davis.
