With the support of our entire community, we create life changing opportunities through training and the power of work. Goodwill SF Bay serves thousands of people in our community every year who are emerging from military service, incarceration, homelessness, recovery from addiction – or simply lacking education or job skills. We provide no cost career services, job training and connections to jobs at Goodwill or one of our 334 employer partners. 

Goodwill relies on a combination of material and financial donations. While many nonprofits must raise 100% of their operating and program budget, our employment social enterprise allows us to leverage every item donated through our 33 donation centers and purchased at one of our 34 stores, 2 warehouse outlets or online - to generate 85% of the revenue we need. This leaves a gap of 15% to be raised through philanthropy and government support.

The Leadership Team at SF Bay Goodwill strategizes and coordinates the organization’s overall direction, ensuring alignment with its mission to create life-changing opportunities through training and employment. This team oversees key functional areas such as financial management, business innovation, operations, human resources, mission services, external affairs, and workforce development, leveraging donations and social enterprise to maximize impact. With their combined expertise, they also focus on fundraising and securing partnerships to bridge the 15% revenue gap needed to support Goodwill’s programs and services.
