Karen Liu has extensive experience in various roles within nonprofit organizations, including Manager of Gift Processing Systems at SF-Marin Food Bank and Development Manager at YMCA of the East Bay. Prior to this, Karen served as a Regional Business Manager at Tri-Valley YMCA, Eden Area YMCA, and Fremont/Newark YMCA. Karen also has a background in research and teaching, with roles as a Research Assistant and Teaching Associate at UC Santa Barbara. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Musicology from UCLA, a Master of Arts in Music History, Literature, and Theory from California State University, Fullerton, and is ABD in Ethnomusicology from UC Santa Barbara.
