James Salazar

James Salazar is an experienced reporter currently working at the San Francisco Examiner since December 2021. Salazar previously served as Managing Editor at the San Francisco Foghorn, overseeing the editing of all sections and managing a team of 13 employees from September 2018 to December 2021. Additional roles at the Foghorn include Sports Editor and Deputy Sports Editor, where responsibilities encompassed writing, editing, and collaborating with other editors. Prior to these editorial positions, Salazar gained experience as a video editor for Pro-Am Beach Soccer, front desk staff at the University of San Francisco, and various internships in human resources and land management.
