Jennifer Salerno

Jennifer Salerno is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in workforce development and support services. Currently serving as a Senior Workforce Development Specialist at the SF Office of Economic & Workforce Development since November 2021, Jennifer manages programming for the Adult Workforce and Economic Recovery and Equity programs. Previously, Jennifer established the Young Adult Workforce Development department at Urban Services YMCA, focusing on providing employment services to at-risk youth. Jennifer's background also includes roles as a Workforce Development Consultant for the City of South San Francisco, Student Services Specialist at Stanford University, Financial Aid and Student Services Advisor at the University of San Francisco, and various positions in property management and youth employment support. Jennifer holds a Master’s Degree in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of San Francisco, along with an Associate of Arts from the College of San Mateo.
