Dennis TAM

Dennis Tam has a diverse work experience that includes roles in commercial controlling, management trainee, research assistant, and summer intern. Dennis'smost recent position was as an Assistant Manager of Commercial Controlling at SF Supply Chain in Hong Kong and Macau. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Specialist of Commercial Controlling at SF DHL Supply Chain China. In this role, they were involved in automation and robotics solutions for warehouse operations, including leading a stock migration into a robotics environment. Dennis also led various warehouse relocations and conducted full-stock counts. Before joining SF DHL, Dennis worked as a Research Assistant at The Department of Civil Engineering at The University of Hong Kong, where they gained experience in processing GPS data, analyzing large-scale data extraction, and developing code for spatial-temporal data processing. Dennis also has experience with ArcGIS and statistical modeling software. Additionally, Dennis completed a summer internship at Hong Kong Adventist Hospital. Overall, their work experience demonstrates a strong understanding of commercial controlling, automation/robotics, data analysis, and logistics.

Dennis Tam completed their Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Logistic Management from The University of Hong Kong from 2018-2021. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the same university between 2012 and 2016. In September 2019, they also received a certification in Visualizing Geospatial Data with Power Map in Excel from LinkedIn.
