The Outreach and Engagement Team at SFARI is responsible for connecting with and mobilizing diverse communities to participate in autism research initiatives. This includes managing outreach efforts for programs such as Spark, Simons Searchlight, and Autism Brainnet, with a focus on promoting inclusivity and engagement from a wide range of participants. The team works to ensure that research studies have robust and representative participation, enhancing the quality and impact of SFARI’s mission to improve the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of autism spectrum disorders.
