David Thomsen

David oversees business development, communications and marketing for SFE. David is a Director, shareholder and is a member of SFE’s Investment Committee. In addition to his duties at the firm, David’s primary interest is the investment and relationship management of his clients. He has a devoted client base that benefits from his many years of investment experience and personal touch.

A native of Los Angeles, David worked in private banking at Citigroup before joining SFE in 2006. In keeping with the SFE tradition, David volunteers for many non-profit organizations and programs. He has served on the board of trustees of the Idyllwild Arts Foundation since 2008 and is an honorary member and treasurer of the New Center for Psychoanalysis since 2007. David is also an active volunteer and representative on his children’s school board. He was a founding member of the La Salle Rugby club.
