Vanessa Lee is an accomplished environmental scientist and designer with extensive experience in urban planning and landscape architecture. Currently serving as an Associate Environmental Scientist at the San Francisco Estuary Institute since May 2021, Vanessa has previously held roles such as Environmental Design Expert at Gehl - Making Cities for People and President of the ASLA Berkeley Student Chapter. Vanessa's research contributions include modeling landform and bathymetry in the southwestern Baltic Sea and working on a significant landscape development project near Narita International Airport. With a strong educational background, Vanessa holds dual master's degrees in City and Regional Planning and Landscape Architecture Environmental Planning from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Landscape Studies from The University of Hong Kong.
