Florent Legras

Florent Legras is a seasoned professional in the fields of data and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Data & AI CTO and Head of Data at SFEIR since March 2014, responsible for the strategy and management of SFEIR's data initiatives in Paris. With experience as a lead data engineer and a background in mobile application development, Florent has contributed to healthcare innovation projects involving machine learning and IoT. Prior to SFEIR, Florent worked at Solutec as a C#/.Net software developer, focusing on the development and management of the Reporting Factory Web Portal for Carrefour France, as well as serving as a data analyst within the same organization. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Java development engineer at Hybrigenics, where Florent implemented a tool for analyzing poorly annotated protein sequences. Florent holds a Master 2 degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI), earned between 2005 and 2011.
