Kirk Chapman

Kirk Chapman is an experienced optical designer with a strong background in lighting solutions. Currently employed at SG Armaturen since November 2012, Kirk focuses on the development of optical and lighting solutions, particularly designing reflectors and optics for LED and legacy light sources. Prior to this role, Kirk co-founded Fionia Lighting A/S, where responsibilities included the development of professional LED lighting solutions for the horticultural industry. Kirk's career began as a laser technician at Mikrofyn A/S, contributing to the development and manufacturing of lasers and machine control systems for the construction industry. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Physics and Technology, specializing in Optics from Syddansk Universitet, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physics from the University of Bristol.
