Carlos Moreno Merchante

Carlos Moreno Merchante is an accomplished Systems Engineer and BI Analyst with extensive experience in data management and strategy consulting. Currently working at SGAE since September 2017, Carlos specializes in the development of a Big Data BI platform utilizing the ELK stack and MS Power BI for metrics, visualizations, and business-oriented tools. Prior to this role, Carlos served as a Regulatory Telco Consultant as a freelancer, focusing on accounting separation cost models for telecommunications operators. Experience also includes a position as an Associate at Axon Partners Group, where involvement in regulation projects and public tender processes was prominent. Carlos holds a degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and furthered education with a degree in Music Business Management from the University of Valencia. Early internships involved the configuration of sensor networks for Smart City initiatives and application development for telephone line management.
