Joe Achmar

Joe Achmar currently serves as the Acting Chief Executive Officer and Group Chief Financial Officer at SGCH since June 2022. Prior to this role, Joe was the Chief Financial Officer at Venues NSW from September 2017 to May 2022, overseeing significant sports and entertainment venues for the State Government of New South Wales. Joe's extensive experience also includes acting as Chief Executive Officer and CFO at Campus Living Villages from 2010 to 2017, managing investments in student accommodation across multiple countries. Earlier in the career, Joe served as Fund Controller and Head of Finance for AMP Capital’s Property Division from 2004 to 2009, and as a Senior Manager at EY from 1987 to 1994. Joe holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Finance from the University of Technology Sydney and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
