Scott DiFiore is a seasoned professional in civil engineering with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Principal at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. since August 2005, Scott has held multiple leadership roles including Associate Principal and Senior Project Manager. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Project Manager at GZA GeoEnvironmental from April 2002 to July 2005, and as Senior Engineer at Weidlinger Associates, Inc. from March 2000 to April 2002. Scott also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at Tufts University, teaching Mechanics of Materials for three semesters, and was the Director of Internships and Corporate Relations at GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. from June 1994 to April 1998. Scott holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Focus) and a Master of Science (MS) in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Focus), both from Tufts University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the same institution. Education was preceded by completion of a diploma from North Attleboro High School.
