Steven Shepherd

Steven Shepherd, S.E. is a seasoned structural engineer with extensive experience in structural analysis, design, and investigation. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager and Senior Consulting Engineer at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger since May 2013, Steven has held various positions, including Senior Staff I and Staff II in the Structures department. Additionally, Steven contributes to the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California as a Board Member. Previous roles include Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley and Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University. Earlier in Steven's career, experience as Lead Technician at Pinnacle Security involved managing installation teams and enhancing quality assurance, while as a Team Leader in framing, responsibilities included overseeing groups in residential construction and training new employees. Steven holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University.
