Angel Eric Ibarra Cruz has extensive experience in law enforcement and legal instruction, currently serving as an instructor in security and law enforcement at SGI Global, LLC since March 2019 and at the United States Embassy since January 2019, focusing on narcotics, law enforcement, anti-corruption, and internal affairs. Previously, Ibarra Cruz held significant roles, including Director General of the Policía Auxiliar and Subsecretario de Información e Inteligencia Policial for the government of Mexico City. Additional positions include Contralor Interno at the Contraloría General and various roles at the Procuraduría-Geral do Distrito Federal, such as Fiscal de Investigación and Coordinador de Fiscales. Ibarra Cruz holds a Master's degree in Criminal Procedural Law from the Instituto de Estudios Superiores en Derecho Penal and a Law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
